Meet The Team
Matt Bauer
OWNER
Matt oversees the company’s daily Columbus based operations including quality control, budgeting and staff oversight. He also works to develop and maintain positive relationships with outside contractors, vendors and commercial partners for concrete contractor services Arlington Concrete provides.
Matt has more than 20 years of industry experience in Central Ohio and enjoys both residential (concrete driveway and patios) and commercial concrete construction.
Matt spent four years serving in the United States Marine Corps before starting his career with Baker Concrete Construction in 1992. Matt progressed from a labor position to foreman while at Baker’s Columbus office, where he managed several large concrete construction crews.
Matt has also spent time managing crews for Bando Concrete and Messer, both in Central Ohio. He has in-depth supplier side experience through positions at Sloter, Arrow, Central and Ernst ready mix companies. During his time on the concrete ready mix side he earned five ACI certifications, led quality control departments and managed several high volume accounts.
Matt offers years of insight and experience to both the commercial and residential markets served by the Arlington Concrete and has a special passion for stamped concrete patios.
